A 1964 Lincoln Continental. I've had a soft spot for these cars since I was a kid.
If I ever have the opportunity to get my hands on one, I'd slam it (on bags of course. Still gotta get over speed bumps!) and put wire wheels on it, just like the one above. Not everybody's style, but I'd rock the shit out of it.
I'd love to shove a 427 into it to make it into somewhat of a sleeper. Straight piping would be a must. Exhaust drone? Bring it on.
I'd get rid of the ancient drum brakes and throw some Wilwood discs on there to stop the massive amount of fast moving weight.
Just for the hell of it, I'd replace the front bench seats with some leather/alacantra Recaro buckets and five point harnesses. Ya, those are STI seats.
I'm staring my own drunken segment called Bubba's Dream Builds. These posts will happen when I'm drunk, like right now. Follow the tag for random updates to see the cars I dream of building and owning if I ever strike it rich!

You can still type coherently, thus are not drunk enough.

So basically what you want is the Continental from the movie Hit & Run?
I think it had a 427 in it. I know it had racing seats and harnesses.
It's a cool movie, and they go into depth about the car in it. I recommend watching it if you haven't

Although I wouldn't go with wire wheels, those aren't really bad or controversial mods. Airbags make it handle and ride great and you still have the option to "slam it" if you want to. A straight piped 427 is never going to be turned down by anyone on this site, ever. Big brakes are a must for a big old car. I'd probably go a bit more comfort oriented seats- the Conti is still a luxury car first and foremost. Massive side bolsters and racing harnesses are a bit out of place in something built to cruise and look badass.

Well shit, I forgot about that, but hell ya that's pretty much it haha
His is a little too high off the ground and I'd drop it down really fucking low. I love low Lincolns for some reason

Except that one was a 67

The only reason I'd do buckets is so I could rip it without sliding all the way into the passenger's side of the bench seat haha

Sliding into your passengers is why bench seats are so great though! Not to mention, it's easier for your passengers to lean over IYKWIM.

I do type very well for being as intoxicated as I am. And I put an assload of thought (while sober) into these cars so I feel like I can convey my ideas pretty well while drunk haha

at 5k lbs you're going to need some carbon fiber!
Straight piping is a dead give away. Remote exhaust bypass valves!

Ah, I forgot about bypass valves! That would be a better option to straight piping so I could cruise without too much hearing loss haha

But I could use the rear seats for sexy time still!

Shhh. Not a Lincoln expert.

I think it was a 460. That movie cracked me up, I still remember when the one guy was like "that got nitrous in it?" and Dax says "No, nitrous is for fags"

Mr. BBR, this is splendid.
I didn't get if you were going to put a manual shift in it or not.
To profoundly ambush onlookers, making it a column-mounted manual shift would be in my opinion nothing short of diabolical. (I know that Hong Kong taxis at least a decade ago used column-mounted manual shift, so if those kinds of parts are needed, well, yeah.)
Another column-shift perk is the option to mount up front three-across race-bucket seating. (The rear seat must remain bench, but of course.) This will make it a bit more like one of those scream-machine cigarette boats if you base this on a convertible, of course.
